What I Like to Eat
oats, pellets, fresh sprouts, fresh veggies, couscous, just lots of fresh foods! i love "beak appetite" fresh foods, especially the ones made for little birds like me!
What I like to do
i love to play, play, play! i have a lot of toys, and i love to try to destroy them as much as possible. bells are my favorite because they make a lot of noise. i bang bells against the sides of my cage to let people know i'm here! i also love to shred paper, and sit on my friends' shoulders for rides. i like to laugh, chirp, tweet, and sing myself to sleep. i like sleeping in my happy hut and rubbing my head against the sides. i also love to eat and try to feed my friends because they look hungry.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
to arizona to see the feral lovebird population living in cactus and people's backyards.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
i was hatched and hand-fed with a bunch of my brothers and sisters at a small, local bird shop. when my owners came to pick out a baby lovebird, they decided on me because i was the loudest, most playful, and i tried to fly away when they opened the cage (darn those clipped wings!). we then lived in santa barbara for two years while my owners finished college at UCSB, and now we live in orange county where we share a room and they keep me up all night.
