Hello! I just saw that Petsugar posted about your puppy having demidicosis and I wanted to tell you that my puppy pitbull had the same thing! My vet put him on Ivermectin (the oral drops) and he might have given me a topical ointment (please message me if you want to know the topical ointment and I can call my vet for you) Anyway - after MONTHS of tests and finally getting the diagnosis and the Ivermectin, his bald itchy patches finally went away after a couple weeks of the treatment. I know this type of parasite can be very dangerous the older the dog gets so I just wanted to personally share my experience.
