Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
I want to go to an enclosed bunny hunting ground where I can catch rabbits all day!
How I came to be in the care of my owner
I was adopted fifteen days after the owner's previous Rat Terrier/Jack Russel tragically passed away. I was adopted from a certified Decker Terrier (that's my breed!) and Rat Terrier breeder from the National Rat Terrier Registry and United Kennel Club. My owner saw my picture and fell in love with me. They drove 3 and a half hours to my previous owner's house just to take me to my new home.
At my new house, I met my brother and sister (who is currently typing for me--lack of thumbs really bites). I sun all day when it's nice outside or cuddle next to Mommy, Daddy or my sister. I also take great care in sniffing out bunny trails so I can hunt them more effectively. I have killed four so far, but I need to catch Bugs Bunny and Master Mucho Bunny. Bugs Bunny lives under the deck in the back yard and Master Mucho Bunny is this giant bunny in my neck o'woods. MMB is in charge of the Terrorize Zena Operation or the TZO. He likes to send bunnies into my back yard and teaches them evasive maneuvers so I can't catch them! It is very frustrating!
Zena is so pretty! We think B-Bop is part rat terrier, we know he's half doxie, but the other half is up for grabs. I love her big ears!
Thank you. Yes, I love her big ears too. When she has them perked up, her forehead gets little wrinkles because her ears are up so high! It's really cute and you can't really see it in the pictures.
Hi Zena! Thank you for your sweet comment! Yeah, it is a rice cooker that Mozzy is next to. He's probably about the same size as the rice cooker! He's only 7lbs so yeah he is tiny compared to a lot of dogs, but I've seen even tinier!! Zena looks like she is so well behaved! I love her big ears too, I bet she hears EVERYTHING!
I actually think I can see the wrinkles you are talking about, are they the little creases next
to the right ear in the picture? (Left ear on her).
Haha, I totally meant for the dog treats to go to Zena and not you Ellenora!
Yes, those are her vertical wrinkles that usually show when you just call her name or she's tilting her head . When she's really happy and excited (like when we come home or she hears the cheese coming out from the fridge), three horizontal wrinkle crease her forehead from her ears being pricked forward.
She doesn't hear *everything* but nearly everything! The minute you open the refrigerator she's running down the stairs thinking, "Cheese, cheese, are you taking out the cheese? Huh huh huh? I want cheese!" We call them "bat ears."
She's pretty well behaved unless there happens to be a catalog or an envelope on the ground, she's bored or there's food. She has a very sweet disposition.
