What I Like to Eat
Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy Chow, though I must prefer to snatch whatever my parents are eating. I'm also big on puppy cookies (dog biscuits, but I like the ring of "cookie" better).
What I like to do
I am addicted to the sound of the big Goldfish cracker box, though my mom is suspicious about my reaction since she has never given me any of the Golden deliciousness (she's catching on to my dad's bad habits). I also have a pheasant toy that I like to make noises with, especially if you're trying to do something other than play with me. Since my mom is a grad student, she is on the computer a lot, and I get mad and jump up and pound on the keyboard, sometimes screwing up her papers. It's fun. I also do bad things when my parents are on the phone, because that's fun too.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
We would either go to the beach or the lake and do some camping. I have a constant need to make my people let me in and out, so hotels probably wouldn't be my forte. Plus, I'm born to swim and haven't gotten to try out the water legs yet.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
My parents went around to shelters for weeks looking for a dog that fit their personality. My mom grew up with Golden Retrievers and saw an ad in the paper and came to look "for fun". That was an amazing idea because they found me, and while my mom always feels guilty for not adopting from a shelter, my grandparents all love me and... my future brother or sister will be a shelter dog. I'll help pick out the new sibling, but not until after the wedding or my mom will pull out her hair.
