What I Like to Eat
seeds & grains like millet, milo, safflower, oat groats, corn & peas, and especially peanuts!
i also love sneaking "naughty" foods like butter, cheese, chips and cookies, much to mom's dismay 
What I like to do
playing piano & typing, having baths, singing & dancing, nestbuilding & eggsitting, birdwatching, traveling, and riding around on people's heads.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
To visit my Italian cousins in Piazza San Marco. I'd also like to see Pigeon, MI and Pigeon Forge, TN for obvious reasons 
How I came to be in the care of my owner
A very tragic tale with a happy ending... our building was being demolished so my poor, frightened biological parents had to flee from the workmen. They circled above my brother and I for many hours but it was not safe to come down to us, and we were far too small to get to them. My brave brother (being a few days older than I was) ventured over the side of the nest to go looking for a safe place to wait for help when suddenly he was kicked off of the roof of our highrise by an evil, evil man.
Thankfully, my mama's boyfriend-at-the-time was working nearby and witnessed my brother's death. He couldn't leave me there shivering and awaiting an awful fate, and he knew his gf would take in anyone in need, so he picked me up (nest and all) and put me in his truck. It was still very cold and I was terribly hungry, but eventually I got home to my (new) mama where I was warmed up, fed and snuggled ALL night.
I am now almost 29 months old. Most city pigeons like me live only two years. It makes me happy that I get to live with my mama for my entire natural lifespan (15 to 20 years!) and I know it makes her very happy too.
