How I came to be in the care of my owner
Well, actualy my parents neighbours had me first, but when they first got me, i was so shy that all i could do was hide under their bed. When my mom came over for a visit i shot ride out from under the bed and on the couch with her. I knew this was my human right from the start. She got to take me home that very day and i haven't left her side since.
"Update"
It's with a heavy hear that I share the news of Shelby not being right by my side anymore. On January 18th she passed away, it was something that came completely unexpect and really quick. I actually think she waited all that day for her dad to come home from work, and within less than 5 minutes of him walking through the door it was almost like she had a heart attack. It was so quick we didn't even quite realize what was happening. First we thought she was having a seizure but she just stopped breathing as we were holding her. The only bit of comfort that i can take from that day is that i know it happend so quick, she wasn't in pain. As a matter of fact she was quite playful all that day. But for the most part i am just glad that we were there with her.
So rest in peace Shelby I know you took the rainbow bridge to a better place.
