What I like to do
I lovelovelove to keep my Mama awake at night, kneading her legs, face and tummy. Once in a while I play with my feather toy, and I cuddle with whoever will sit with me long enough.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
I'd like to go to Mama's mommie's house... She's older than my mama and so she sits still at the end of the day. That way, I can curl up on her lap and sleep. Besides, she's got Lucy, Rachi, and Heidi (Mama's mommie's cats, and Uncle Chris's cat) to play with. Lucy's kind of old and grumpy, but I understand her... And Rachi and Heidi like to play, so I get to have some fun sometimes!
How I came to be in the care of my owner
Oh my gosh--it was so cold and snowy that winter in Kalamazoo! We were sort of getting near Spring, but it was so cold... I was just starving, and so lonely, and my old owner wouldn't let me inside anymore. I kept wandering, but this nice lady at one place always had food and water and a blanket out for me... She'd even warm up the blanket sometimes! When Spring finally came, she kept her back door open, and sometimes I'd peek in and look around her house. I liked her doggies and her other kitty cat. They seemed friendly and very nice. One day, I just decided that being with these people and their animals might not be so bad. So, instead of staying outside forever, I let her pick me up, and when she left the door open that night, I did not go back outside. And I'm happy now with that lady--she's my Mama.
