What I Like to Eat

I like canned food only. (I get UTIs if I eat dry food 'cause I don't like to drink water... ever... from anywhere.) I like to eat birdies... chicken, turkey, sparrows, even moths... but I don't like red meat or fish much at all. Give me chicken, sliced, in gravy... mmm... oh, also croissants and angel food cake... yummm...

What I like to do

My life can be summed up into 4 categories: Eating, sleeping, going outside and playing. I like to eat chicken. I like to sleep where it's warm and clean. I like to go outside to give my keeper more exercise, make sure everyone knows just how much of the neighborhood I own, to relieve myself, to check on all my plant friends and to chase around my cat friends. I like to play, a lot... preferably with my humans or prey, but also by myself. I like to get air jumping for hair bands and little stuffed animals, especially the pink hippo. The hallway is my special place of residence in the house and I'll do almost anything to lure you there.

Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation

The tropical bird aviary at the Oakland Zoo.... mmmmm... birdies.

How I came to be in the care of my owner

I was a sly street kitten, living on the streets in the Bronx, NY. One of my favorite haunts was this bachelor pad housing 4 nerdling boys. I loved to jump into their window, get some sweet strokes, a snack and to curl up on a nice warm laptop, then I'd be on my way to my next stop. On one cold November day, one of these nerdling boys (one of my favorites) put me into a swank zebra striped carrier and then into a cab. Before I knew it, I was snuggly tucked under his seat on an airplane. Next thing, I was let out of the carrier and into a little apartment with a huge gray cat already in residence. After spending the night locked in the apartment's pink bathroom, I received a visit from a new person. She scooped me back into the zebra bag and walked us to another apartment... this was a big place, all my own, no other animals in residence. It took me a couple of days, but now I call this place my home and have two humans to pet me and feed me and sometimes I even sleep with them, but not until I'm sure they are already asleep.
