What I Like to Eat
I love hay. I eat most veggies (except onions, potatoes and some beans, they are't good for me. I also eat guinea pig pellets. I require Vitamin C and I drink a lot of water every day. Carrots and tomatoes are favorites of mine.
What I like to do
Hang out in my cage. and run around when I can. My owners take me out and set up small cardboard mazes for me. That is a lot of fun and I get great exercise. My name is "Pig because, well, I' a rather large guinea pig. I'm very vocal. I will squel at any one going in to the kitchen and I usually will get something to eat. When I am content I will purr (much like my friends, Tiggie and Scooter. I have a love-hate relationship with my dog, Sally. She is quite fascinated with me. She lets my owners know if they aren't getting my treats quick enough. However, she tends to nip at me when she is in the house when I am out of my cage. I do like her, though. THis picture is of me, Sally and Grandpa. See how Sally is so intent with me, I try not to move (as much as I like her, she scares me sometimes.)
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
I do like to make short trips. I go to Petco often. And on occassion, I visit with my prior owners. They like to know how well I'm doing with my new family.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
The prior owners were giving me away because the kids were not paying enough attention to me. So, hence, my new family. The kids here are great and play with me often. I love my new home.
