How I came to be in the care of my owner
I was going to be left behind if not sold at a crafts fair. My breeder was calling me, The Mistake, because a prize husky got in with the Pyrenees. So, my mom scooped me up, changed my name from The Mistake to Oopsy Daisy and has loved me ever since.
Ohhh! Left behind?! How sad! I can't imagine where that little thing would be if you hadn't appeared! She is sooooo cute!
Apparently that is pretty common with puppy mill type places. What doesn't sell, especially non-purebreeds, get left behind to fend for themselves. I also think they lied about her age. She couldn't eat food yet when we got her. I think she may have been as young as three weeks.
She looks like such a sweetheart! How cruel that breeder must have been to give up on such a beauty. She reminds me of my dog, they both have a "mask" on their faces, and a mischievous glint in their eyes.
She is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever seen. She doesn't bark really and just adores my children. The best thing about her is she doesn't stink or get greasy feeling like every other dog I've known. She stays fluffy. She is over 100lbs now and the biggest lap dog ever.
She was still a pup in that pic
Adorable! She reminds me of my puppy Bunyan, she also doesn't ever get that stinky dog smell. I was wondering what she's crossed with, too, since I found her on the side of the road--maybe she's got a little Pyrenees or Husky in her.
