What I Like to Eat
Everything that is not veggies! I love honey melon, baby back rib bones, treats, treats, and more treats!
What I like to do
Play, play, play, and play some more. When I'm not playing I like to nap and nibble on fingers.

Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
Outside!

How I came to be in the care of my owner
I was a single line ad on the internet a state away. My mom and dad decided out of the blue to get a puppy dog.
Thank goodness they found me!

My goodness, Mozzy is absolutely precious. He's so tiny compared to my Zena! I love the picture of him next to the rice cooker! At least, it looks like a rice cooker. His little white mustache of fur is utterly adorable.
His big fluffy mustache is one of my favorite little features of him.
I accidentally cut
them too short one day, and he looked so silly! haha. His daddy (my bf) couldn't stop laughing cause having them not be big and fluffy and instead short and uneven was just too awkward!
Ha ha, that is funny!
How many times a month does Mozzy have to have his coat trimmed? The puppy coat looks perfect on him. I've never been a fan of the show dog length on a breed like the Maltese.
Oh for sure! I am not a fan of the show dog coat either, it just takes away from his pure look of innocence!! In the summer I would trim his coat probably twice a month, now that it's winter and it's absolutely freezing here, I probably only give him a trim around his face and tummy (otherwise he'll pee on it, and it just gets nasty! haha). He basically gets a mini bath every other day or whenever he accidentally goes on himself since he's so tiny when he lifts his legs. But he'll get a bath once a week to once every one and a half weeks.
I know you rarely have to trim or groom Zena huh? My cousin has a dog with fur too and she has never needed to give him a trim! Must be lucky in that sense, but then again I don't ever deal with fur all over my clothes and stuff lol.
Zena gets a bath once a month (typically 24-48 hours after her flea medication). I brush her maybe once a month or whenever I'm bored/stressed. The only thing that gets trimmed at the vet is her toenails. It's WWIII whenever she has to get her toenails trimmed! One strong vet assistant and my former military dad have to hold her down while the vet wields the trimmer.
I haven't given her a bath since December because it's been super cold (we've gone as low as -37 with wind chill. Stupid Lake Michigan). Zena has a short, thin coat so we have to put on a ski puffer jacket and possibly a scarf. The vets love when we bring Zena in wearing one of her sweaters or her ski puffer jacket. She must get a thousand kisses at the vet.
The fur everywhere doesn't really bother my family or me. We've always owned short-coated dogs so fur is not a problem. We've had a Black Lab, Greyhound and a Jack Russel/Rat mix before Zena. I can't imagine not having a Zena blanket (aka fur) sucked into the Dyson!
