What I like to do
My favorite things to do include: running from one end of the house to the other for no reason, meowing loudly, begging for food and catnip, and sitting on whatever my people are trying to read. Also, I love to sit and stare out the front door for hours on end, especially when there are geckos on the front porch.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
After Hurricane Katrina, my people evacuated New Orleans and visited a friend in North Carolina on the outerbanks. No one knows how I came to be on the little island that they were staying on, but I sat under the house, meowing loudly, until someone came down to see who was making all that noise. I got lucky and they fed me a plate of sausage. Needless to say, I came back the next day. After that, I hung out on the porch until they left a few days later, having charmed them into taking me home.
