What I like to do
I love to hike and swim. But I also love to play with the cats! I adore walking around the lake in my neighborhood and Monte and I love having company at our house. We are very social!!!

Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
To Santa Fe where we will be building a house in the Village of Canada de Los Alamos because we love it there, there is a great pond that I love to swim in and Monte and I adore our friends, Gilda and Angus, who we love to visit and run with up in the mountains above the town!

How I came to be in the care of my owner
My mom's dog Maisie had just passed unexpectedly due to kidney failure and someone in her office mentioned that there was a Black Lab who was headed to the shelter and would she take me in. She brought Captain out to meet me and it was love at first sight. Admittedly, I was pretty crazy back then, but the minute I met my mom, I loved her and knew I was going to have a great life with her and that we'd have many adventures!
