How I came to be in the care of my owner
Leela was rescued from a steel trap in South Carolina. Evidently she got her paw and face stuck, and then was beat unconscious by a hunter. Thankfully she did end up getting rescued and has recovered brilliantly with only a torn, blind eye and a slightly mangled paw to show for it.
