What I Like to Eat
UPDATE: My sweet girl passed away on December 30, 2007. Honey's page will remain here as an online memorial. See last section for the story of the "Rainbow Bridge." It has been a great comfort to me and I absolutely believe my Honeybee and I will have that joyous reunion one day. I can't wait to see that big smile and do our "Honeydance" routine again!

Honey's favorite treats:
These things my mommy calls "cookies"
- I think they're called Milk-Bone biscuits.
I haven't met a treat I don't like yet!
I get REALLY excited when mommy gives me a Purina Busy Bone (they're really yummy, so they don't keep me busy for very long!)
What I like to do
Honey's favorite activities:
I love going on lots of long walkies with mommy and daddy.
At night, I love watching TV curled up next to mommy on the couch, on a soft velvet blanket.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
Honey's dream vacation:
Somewhere outdoorsy - how about an all-inclusive resort with my own private dog park? I could run around off-leash til my heart's content and then bark in my order of a bottomless bowl of assorted treats (Milk Bones, Pupperoni, etc). Yeah, I'd love to do that every day for about a week or so
How I came to be in the care of my owner

She is playing in the meadow paradise at the Rainbow Bridge and I know one day my "Honeybee" and I will be reunited and cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
For those who haven't heard of the Rainbow Bridge, here is the story:
"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…

Honey's rescue story:
My mommy missed her exit on the highway, so she took the next exit and stopped at a gas station before turning around. I had been wandering around this gas station for a couple of weeks - sad, alone, and hungry. When this nice lady saw me, she burst into tears and waited to see if I'd come over to her. I was so happy and let her pet me. I kept following her around and when she opened her passenger door to get something, I climbed right in and curled up on the passenger seat. I knew this nice lady would help me. She was originally going to find me a forever home after she nursed me back to health from malnourishment (I gained 12 pounds to reach my normal weight!), severe flea allergies, and heartworm. Instead, she fell in love with me and decided she couldn't give me up. I'm definitely a momma's girl, and I feel so lucky to have finally found my forever home!!!
Nice Story & nice dog !!
Beautiful!!
My pup climbed into my car too! How crazy is that!? Such a pretty girl- I bet she's so glad that she found you!
She's sooo pretty! I'm glad she found a good home!
