What I Like to Eat
Bananas are my favorite but I do like all sorts of fruits. I like when Mommy & Daddy let me have some of what they're having, but only after they're finished and it's put in my bowl.
What I like to do
I like when Mommy & Daddy are both home at the same time.
I like running and rolling on carpet when I get the chance because we don't have to much of it in my house.
I like to chase the squirrels and cats in my big backyard.
I like hiding underneath the bed because it's cool underneath there.
I like barking when I hear the slightest noise, especially if either Mommy or Daddy isn't home because it might be them coming home to see me.
I love giving kisses and laying right up next to Mommy & Daddy for body warmth, like I did when I was a puppy with my brothers and sisters.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
Well I don't like the water and we had fun last time we went to see my cousin Molly down in Maryland, so I'd go there again. Molly's fun to play with.
But I really like being home or at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's which is like a second home to me. They have carpet too!
How I came to be in the care of my owner
Well, I was at an adoption day at a Petco in Ramsey, NJ with all my brothers and sisters after we were rescued by some nice people from a kill shelter in West Virginia. When my Mommy & Daddy first came into the store I was the 1st one out of all my brothers and sisters to go greet them at the side of the gate where they were standing. They thought I was sooooo cute, but there was a lot of hustle and bustle going around about who was getting who and all the people had to make sure that they were going to be great parents to us. After my Mommy & Daddy were cleared they took me away and we went shopping for all the stuff I was going to need. I still had my original name (Vienna) since Mommy & Daddy still didn't know what to call me. We drove home and the whole ride home I sat on Mommy's lap, I was only 7lbs. but at 60lbs. I still love to sit on her lap in the car. They couldn't decide on a perfect name for me yet. We stopped by to see my new Mom Mom and Pop Pop first and they thought I was pretty cute too! When we finally got home Daddy was on the phone with my new Aunt & Uncle (Molly's parents) and Uncle Bill said what about Guinness, since I now was part of an Irish family. Mommy said yes right away, because she knew it was the perfect name for me and it is. I'm all black, except for my bow-tie and my back feet which are white, like the froth on a pint of Guinness. I'm so glad Mommy & Daddy rescued me and took me home with them, I have the perfect family for me and they have the most perfect son.
