What I like to do
Go to the park, chase squirrels, eat flies. Sometimes I go to doggie daycare and play with lots of other dogs -- I have a lot of fun!
I LOVE my Kong toys and my NylaBone, they're the only toys that I can't destroy. My new favorite adventure is the off-the-leash dog park -- I have some new friends there!

How I came to be in the care of my owner
I was adopted from the local Animal Care & Control shelter by my owners. I was abused as a puppy when they rescued me and took me to the shelter. I was adopted once before while there, but returned after three days because they decided I needed too much attention. It was OK though because I love my new owners and they love me and take care of me!
I'm very shy around new people, especially men, and I sometimes growl and bark at them -- I'm trying very hard to work on this. With my owners help I am getting over my fears and am making lots of new friends
