How I came to be in the care of my owner
My husband and I were at a local bar, "the Dirty Drummer" and this little thing was outside while we were having a smoke. My husband was standing along the side of the tarp that was outside, and all the sudden this little thing, meowing like crazy, just jumped down right on his shoulder, the kittie just laid there purring her little head off while we were talking. After that, it was no doubt that we could leave that cat there. Regulars at the bar said that the kitties had been around there for at least a year. After I heard that, I walked the kittie home. I lived right down the street. The whole walk home Drummer just say in my arms, content as can be just purring. She is a GREAT addition to our home. She was a tiny malnutritioned little thing last year, but now she is a big cuddly healthy girl!
We named her Drummer, being where we found her. And we thought she was a boy for the longest time, but couldn't change the name, it just stuck.
