What I Like to Eat
Anything at all! I'm a little picky with dog foods, but I'll eat any sort of table food you throw my way. I really like popcorn and Skittles.
What I like to do
I LOVE to lay in bed or the couch. I also really love to go for car rides! I am the alpha dog to the other dogs in my house, so I really like bossing them around and keeping them in line. I like to play tug of war.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
Any place they have a bed or couch! I'm a serious couch-doggy. But also someplace we can go driving a lot.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
My mommy adopted me from the humane society. I'm so glad Mommy rescued me - I was so scared there that I shook all the time. I was the only girl in my litter and the others were all black and I'm all yellow. When I saw Mommy come into the room that day I tottled over to the front of the cage and just sat and looked at her and whined. Mommy said I stole her heart right then and there. They told her I was 6 weeks old, but clearly I wasn't. Mommy had to hand feed me for a while. I was the runt of the litter and a very sick little puppy and very small for my age. Mommy took me to the doctor and they fixed me up!
Then about 1 month after me and Mommy found each other I got very, very sick. The doctors told Mommy that I caught a virus and would probably die. I spent 2 days at the vet being very sick and not moving around at all. Then, all of a sudden, on the 3rd day I felt 100% better! I didn't like being in the cage at the doctor's anymore and I really, really didn't like the IV in my arm. So, I kept chewing out the IV and jumping around and making a fuss. Finally they called my mommy at work and told her to please come get me and I was gonna be fine, I just had to take icky medicine for awhile. I have a sort of "scar" from that horrible IV - my fur grew back pure white where the IV was. Mommy says it's for us to always remember that God had a reason for me stay alive. Mommy says God gave me to her because she was lonely and had lost a lot of things in her life. Mommy says I saved her, but I think she saved me too.
And I've been fine ever since! I'm still pretty small for my breeds, but Mommy says good things come in small packages and I'm just the way God wanted me to be. I had a puppy last year (my first and only - only 1 puppy in the litter) and I think she's gonna grow up to be just as special as me!
