How I came to be in the care of my owner

It's a sad but happy story, it'll make sense when you read it.

When I was 20 or 21 I had just gotten rid of a roommate, and she took her cat with her, I was devastated. I decided to go out and get a cat to keep me company, plus I grew up with cats, so to not have one in my presence was odd.

My mom and a few ladies from work save cats. They heard about this home that someone had been keeping all of her cats outside in the car port in cages, this was during monsoon season in AZ too! So they ventured out and cat-napped all the cats. One of the ladies had a really good size house with LOTS of rooms. She took the cats home and placed them in separate rooms by their character.

I walked in and saw these two poor looking scraggly cats on top of a book shelf just trembling. I had to take them. I thought if anyone else got them and didn't have the patients I do, it could be worse for the poor babies.

So after I chose them, the woman that took them in, took them to get fixed and all their shots for me. While they were still a bit out of it, I took them home and let them walk around my place. The poor things could barely walk. A whole year went by with out me being able to touch them, they were so frightened. I would come home from work and lay on the floor next to my bed where they would hide underneath, and soothingly talk to them everyday. Like I said a year has gone by, I moved, got pregnant, with twins! The day I lost my children was the first day my cats let me pet them. I truly think that they are my little angels. I named them Crimson and Clover.

Now being 6-7 years later, they are the most loveable cats I have ever been around. They go everywhere I go. They are from the same litter, and they love eachother, they also go everywhere with eachother. They are the happiest, spolied little cats!

See? Happy story!! <3
