How I came to be in the care of my owner
When I was a puppy a pet shop employee accidentally stepped on my legs and broke them. The vet said that I'd need surgery to repair the damage. The pet store didn't want to pay for the surgery and stuck me in the back with a "Not for Sale" sign. After seeing me in the window and hearing my story, they thought it was so sad - they asked to adopt me! Turns out that when they took me to the vet he said that I wouldn't need the surgery. I've been happy and more than capable to run laps around my family and jump up into their laps ever since!
