What I Like to Eat
Yummy "Taste of the Wild" dog food. The kind with the fish swimming in the river. Mom doesn't like the way it smells, but I love it.
What I like to do
Sniff the cat's butt; sleep as close to Mom as I can, taking up all the bed; and get wet and muddy. I also like to sit on my Mom's lap when she's watching TV even though Mom says I'm an oaf!

The woods with a lake and creeks to play in and squirrels to chase
How I came to be in the care of my owner
Mom adopted me from the local shelter. She can't believe someone would lose me and leave me in doggy prison. But what she really can't believe is that my breed is one of the most rare in the United States: I'm a Texas Blue Lacy–the official dog breed of the state of Texas and proud of it!
