What I Like to Eat
I love to eat the Science Diet kibble my mom buys me. I also really love anything that falls off the table (I'm fast enough to get it before mom picks it up...haha!). My favorite thing to eat though is lamb ear treats. I like to bury them in the backyard then dig them up when I want a snack.

What I like to do
Besides burying treats in the backyard, I love to fetch my ball and then play keep-away. I also love to go on walks in the woods because I can run around without a leash. I also enjoying tearing everything to shreds...paper, toilet paper, my doggie bed (I'm on number three already), etc. I love cuddling with mom and sleeping with her in our big bed.
Where we'd go if I got to choose the destination of our next vacation
I get to go to Canada in July, so I'm pretty excited about that. Mom and Dad are taking me to a family reunion at place with lots of things to do, people to see, and smells to sniff. I can't wait! I'm a little scared about the plane ride though.
How I came to be in the care of my owner
My mom had been wanting a doggie forever but couldn't get one b/c she worked too much and lived in a doggie-unfriendly house. When she got a new job and found out she could have a pet, she searched high and low for the perfect dachshund. She found my picture on a website of a reputable breeder and called right away--I was the last one of my brothers and sisters still available! She hurried out to meet me, and when we met it was love at first sight. Other people thought I had too much energy, but my mom knew I was just playing around like all puppies do. Now I get to be top dog in my house and have been a good puppy by learning tricks like shake and roll over.
